1936 ~ KUNTZ ~ 2016 Frances Bertha Kuntz a longtime resident of Redcliff, Alberta, passed away on Saturday, October 22nd, 2016 at the George Boyak Care Facility in Calgary, at the age of 80 years. Frances was born on May 13th, 1936 in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan to Christian and Emelia Wandler where she then met and married Joseph Kuntz in 1952. They moved from the family farm to Medicine Hat in 1960, then to Redcliff where they continued to raise their four children. Frances was predeceased by Joe on September 4th, 2010, after 48 years of marriage. She is survived by her children, Randy Kuntz (Barb Forelich), Stan (Karen) Kuntz, Terry Kuntz (Patty Green) and Cory (Jay) Fiset; four grandchildren, Maria St. Pierre, Melissa Kuntz (Tyler Mayo), Wyatt Fiset andJaxson Fiset; and three great grandchildren, Kaidan, Ava and Raya St. Pierre. Frances will be sadly missed by all who loved her including dear friends of Redcliff and her extended family, one sister and numerous nieces and nephews. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Francis Louis Dubois at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 20, 2016, at the age of 85 years. Francis was the beloved husband of predeceased, Edith; father of Wendy, Magali, Carly and Eddy; grandfather to Stephanie, Michael and William and great-grandfather to Angelica and Theo. Francis and his family immigrated from Belgium to Canada in 1967. He was a hard working and talented man. He loved to play his cornet in the Salvation Army Band and had a passion for music, drawing and painting. Francis loved all things related to renovations and woodworking and spent much time improving his family homes over the years. He loved tennis and was an avid player well into his sixties. One of the things he mostly enjoyed was bringing laughter into the lives of others. Dearly loved, he will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service in Francis’ honour will be held at the Christian Reformed Church, 300 Primrose Drive S.E., Medicine Hat on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor George Koopmans officiating.
