Mrs. Audrey Jean Miller, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016, at the age of 79 years. Audrey leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 50 years, Harold; children, Kirk (Vickie), Guy (Bev), Cindy (Ed), Stuart, Audrey-Anne (Michael) daughter-in-law, Debora; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Hilda Leicht; son, Shane and grandson, Nolan. Vern Erman of Maple Creek, passed away Saturday, May 14 at Swift Current at the age of 84. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 24 at 2:00 PM from the Maple Creek United Church. FEIL

Harry Feil of Medicine Hat, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016, at the age of 88 years, beloved husband of the late Pearl Feil. He leaves to cherish his memory two children, Wayne (Wendy) Feil and Wesley (Deb) Feil; three grandchildren, Heather (Dan), Sean (Diane) and Royce; two sisters-in-law, Norma Kissinger and Doreen Bartoli as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents, Christina and John Feil; his wife Pearl on December 7, 2009; six brothers, Emil, Art, Malin, Edwin, Marvin and Hugo. Harry was born on December 5, 1927 in Walsh, Alberta. He worked his entire career at IXL Industries, retiring after 44 years of service. He and Pearl enjoyed travelling to Hawaii and in his spare time, he was an avid golfer and curler. His family would like to take this opportunity to thank the 4th and 6th floors at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital as well as Dr.’s Best, Filanti and Nohr. An informal Come and Go gathering, to celebrate Harry’s life, will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Whiskey Creek Reception Center, (937 13th Street SW). MARIA CHRISTINE FLANAGAN

July 9, 1917 – May 16, 2016
Maria Flanagan, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, passed away at the Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre on Monday, May 16, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas (Bus) Joseph Flanagan. She is survived by her children, Tom (Vicki), Margaret (Robert Poetschke), Maureen (Imants Osis), Ann Marie (Ron Ziebart), Sharon, Jane (Michael Perman); seventeen grandchildren, twenty-three great- grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Maria was predeceased by her twelve siblings. Born on a farm near Walsh, Maria lived most of her life in Medicine Hat where she and Bus, married for 53 years, raised their six children, enjoyed family, music, and many other gifts from God. She was educated in Maple Creek and continued her education through courses at Athabasca University and Medicine Hat College. For 60 years she was an active member of the Catholic Women’s League. Maria was able to put anyone at ease with her warmth, beautiful smile, and kindness. She created beauty in everything she touched – her meals, floral arrangements, and homes. She saw the good in others and always treated people she met with dignity and grace. A true lady who will be deeply missed.
The family wishes to express gratitude to the staff at the Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre for their compassionate care. The family is also very grateful for the kindness and support of Mom’s three companions: Linda, Eugenia, and Sylvia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre through the Gray House Guild.
A private family memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at South Side Memorial Chapel, 8310 – 104 Street, Edmonton, AB. At a future date a memorial service will be held in Medicine Hat.

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Laura Lillian Snyder of Medicine Hat, AB will take place on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Carstairs Church of God, Carstairs, AB.
