Family first…

It wasn’t that long ago that family and friends gathered at Cook’s Chapel for Vigil Prayers to celebrate the life of a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Shirley Hart. Shirley’s daughter, Cindy and grandson, Marcel shared words from the heart providing insight into the life of this wonderful lady while the video tribute that followed showed the love for her family. The next day, Father Philip led the Mass with members of her family participating which added a personal touch from those who meant so much to her.
Honour Shirley’s memory,
In all that you do,
Give selflessly of yourself,
Put family first too!
Her Life Lived…
Her Life Cherished…
Her Life Honoured.

September 20, 2015 – Calgary Alberta

After a very active and colorful life, our Father, Grandfather and Friend has passed away peacefully at the age of 82 from a brief illness.
Mike lived life on his own terms. He passed on to his daughters his extraordinary work ethic and his generosity to us girls whilst we were growing up will always be remembered.
