Dolores Drescher, beloved wife of Peter Drescher, passed away on Monday, August 31st, 2015 at the age of 76 years. DYCK

Aaron Adolph Dyck of Medicine Hat, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015, at the age of 81 years, beloved husband of the late Nettie Dyck. He leaves to cherish his memory seven children, Barbara (Larry) Friesz, Patricia (Peter) Laing, Wanda Dyck, Mary Lou Wardrobe (Lloyd Mann), Trenton (Glenda) Dyck, Darcy (Leslie) Dyck, Brad Dyck; his grandchildren, Nicole Friesz (Casey), Kim Friesz, Jason (Tanis) Laing, Wayne (Angie) Laing, Jennell (Chris) Melynik, Devon Dyck, James Dyck, Danika Dyck, Scott McCalister, James McCalister and Gemma McCalister, two brothers John (Betty) Dyck and George Dyck; one sister, Lena Guenther; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He was predeceased by his wife Nettie on July 27, 2013; his parents, Annie and Abraham Dyck; a son-in-law Harold Wardrobe; a granddaughter, Denise Sara Friesz; two brothers, Pete and Jake; one sister Marion Ozipko; Netties parents, Margaret and John Penner; his brothers-in-law, John Penner and Ed Schmidt and his sister-in-law Jean Penner. Aaron was born on July 25, 1934 near Herbert, Saskatchewan. He received his education and was briefly enrolled in the Canadian Army. On December 24, 1956, he married Nettie Penner and they resided in Herbert. Aaron was a painter, he worked on many painting jobs and to earn extra money he painted portraits and was a musician. Aaron took on a job at the D.U. Ranch where Nettie began working as well. From there they moved to Bellevue, Alberta, Aaron worked at the Lumber Mill until it closed down. They returned to Herbert for a brief time and in 1967, they moved with their family to Medicine Hat. That same year, Aaron accepted a position in the paint shop at CFB Suffield and in1971, moved his family to Ralston. He continued his employment at the paint shop on the military base and they purchased a home in Suffield in 1981. He retired in 1994, continuing to reside in his home until his passing. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Bob McGougan officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery. KEATING

Patrick “Pat” Michael Keating of Medicine Hat, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015, at the age of 64 years, beloved fiancé of Loreen Burniston. He also leaves to cherish his memory one brother, Michael (Darlene) Keating of Miramichi, New Brunswick and several nieces and nephews ; Loreen’s family: her mother, Edith Burniston of Medicine Hat, her brothers and sisters and their families; and a close family friend Audrey Leith of Medicine Hat. He was predeceased by his parents Rosalie and Benedict Keating and one sister, Christina Marie Ross. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Captain Ron MacDonald officiating.
