Life’s work well done…

Last week marked the beginning of an eternal journey as over a hundred family and friends gathered at the peaceful Hillside Cemetery to honour the life of Bud Mattson. With the warm sun shining down, Bud’s grandchildren respectfully acted as pallbearers and carried their Grandpa to his place of rest… Life Celebrant Gerry Getz led the service and shared some special memories of Bud’s life… a special song, “I’ll See You Again” could be heard as those in attendance reflected on the touching words of the song and the final tribute that closed the service, was a song by Eldon as he strummed his guitar.
His hard working hands now idle,
An eternal journey has begun…
Resting where no shadows fall
His life’s work well done.
His Life Lived…
His Life Cherished…
His Life Honoured
