Helen Barbara Miller, beloved wife of Raymond Miller of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, February 11th, 2015 at the age of 76 years. Sophie Rath of Medicine Hat passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s with her family by her side on Friday, February 13, 2015, at the age of 85 years, beloved wife of the late Lawrence Rath. She leaves to cherish her memory her three children, Bev (Dennis) Bradley of Medicine Hat, Connie (Glenn) Mattson of Cypress County; Wayne Rath of Cypress County; six grandchildren, Crystal Bradley (Rory Henry), Caylen Bradley, Cody Mattson and Tyler Mattson, Blair Rath (Becca Smith), Brittnee Rath; three great grandchildren, Marissa Henry and Makayla Henry, Brieal Rath; two brothers; Ivan Neitz and Larry (Monica) Neitz; two sisters, Emily Biederman and Alice (Jim) Musson; brothers-in-law, Edward (Doreen) Rath and Robert (Diane) Rath as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Hulda and Fredrich Neitz ; her husband, Lawrence on November 19, 2010; her son, Harold Rath in 1992; one brother, Lenard Neitz, two sisters-in-law, Viola (Richard) Deering and Lily (Walter) Stuber. He also leaves to cherish his memory his children, Juan Ramon Zavala of Santa Ana, El Salvador, Ana Joyce (Ian) of Glendale, California, Gabriel (Theresa) Zavala of Airdrie; Maria Zavala of Lethbridge and Ada Zavala of Brooks; eleven grandchildren, Olga, Janet, Juan Ramon, Gabriel, Sergio, Rebecca, Kelly, Abby, Layla, Sophia and Grayson; four great grand children; one sister, Marina Cruz as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, Otilia and Juan Ramon Zavala; four brothers, Miguel, Tomas, Pedro and Roberto.
