.JENNIFER LYNN RALPH (nee GALE)

December 22, 1976 ~ January 30, 2014

It is with such sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our loving wife, sweet daughter, big sister, and world’s greatest auntie, Jennifer Ralph (Gale). Jen was born and raised and led a happy life in Medicine Hat. She celebrated her graduation from McCoy High School in 1996 with her best friend Vanessa. After graduation, Jen met the love of her life, her Newfie, Steven Ralph. They were married on August 18, 2001. Her life with her new husband bloomed with the love and support of her family and friends. Jen and Steve shared a life of simple pleasures; drives for coffee, family celebrations, watching lightning storms, and completely spoiling her nine nieces and nephews with hugs and presents (and if the gifts were Winnie the Pooh themed, all the better). She enjoyed playing darts with her friends, and the occasional game of Bingo. Jen always gave back to those around her and her community. She was a charter member of the Community View Lions Club where she could be seen volunteering at countless events around the city. Jen also had the opportunity to travel on numerous family vacations as well as to Newfoundland and California to visit relatives. Care Cabs provided her with many stories, interesting days, and coworkers she was proud to call friends. We will miss the many precious gifts that Jen brought to our lives; her quick smile, her hearty laugh, and her presence at each and every special event from family suppers, to her brother’s football games. Most of all we will miss her unconditional love she had for each and every one of us. We are a big family and all of her love was needed. We know we were blessed to have Jen in our lives and be part of her journey. We trust now in the promise of eternal life with the angels. Along with her loving husband, Steven, left to cherish Jen’s memory are her parents, Stan and Linda Gale; three brothers, Joshua (Tara) Gale and their children Madelyn and Katelyn; Nicholas (Laura) Gale and their daughter Drew; Nathanial (Hailey) Gale and their children Addyson and Paige; sister-in-law, Karen Ralph and her children Grant, William, Charlie and Matthew. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her father-in-law, Charlie Ralph (Noreen Blundon); grandparents, Carl and Lorraine Doll and Roy Gale as well as her cousin, Starr Ralph and her children Austin and Amber. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Anna Gale. A Funeral Mass celebrating Jen’s life will be held at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 238 – 2 Avenue N.E., Medicine Hat on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Father Alphonse Narisetty celebrant. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. (Condolences may be expressed by visiting http://www.cooksouthland.com) If friends so desire, memorial contributions in memory of Jen may be made to the Community View Lions Club, P.O. Box 21010, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 6N9. Honoured to serve the family is COOK SOUTHLAND Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4V4. Telephone: 403-527-6455.
