NHL trade deadline day has arrived.
The deadline brings all potential movement to a halt at 3 p.m. ET Friday.
There has been movement throughout the week, with teams looking to steer further toward their desired direction.
The Edmonton Oilers, Toronto Maple Leafs and Colorado Avalanche were among the contenders making moves on Thursday.
But the biggest splash came with under 20 minutes left until midnight. The Carolina Hurricanes announced they had acquired star forward Jake Guentzel from the Pittsburgh Penguins in a package deal.
And potential remains for more movement Friday.
