JV Colts open baseball season with bloated win

sports@medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews The McCoy JV Colts opened their high school Baseball season in a big way. The Colts picked up a 15-2 victory Tuesday night over the Maple Creek Red Sox. Nixon Kunkel started on the mound and pitched two shutout innings to earn the win. Dane Brooks, Asha Frey and Owen Fisher led the JV Colts offence with two hits each. Weather permitting, the McCoy JV Colts are scheduled to play Notre Dame Wilcox at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at McCoy Field. 7-6
