Hopwo, Kemp help kick off Tigers awards with most goals, points

The Medicine Hat Tigers began unveiling their 2020-21 award recipients online Wednesday, starting with Corson Hopwo taking home the Most Goals Award.

Hopwo netted 14 goals over the team’s 23-game campaign to earn the accolade, while Brett Kemp followed up with the Leading Scorer Award Thursday after notching 12 goals and 19 assists for 1.35 points per game.

The Tigers will continue to unveil one award winner at 10 a.m. each day through the end of the month, with the MVP title marked as the finale.

The team will announce the winner of Three Stars Award this morning.
