It’s down to one night of racing for the Medicine Hat Auto Racing Association’s classes, following Saturday night’s quartet of main event winners.

At the Medicine Hat Speedway, Shane Goldie won the hobby stock in the penultimate race night of the season, his No. 72 car finishing ahead of Trevor Statham’s 16 and James Dumont’s 27.

Trent Guest took the last checkered flag of the night in street stock, followed by Ross Statham and Jason Koska.

In renegade trucks, Wayne Seaward was the main event winner with Tony Lavigne second and Jason Hardy third.

Finally, Serge Perreault won the rumblebees class Saturday, beating out Dean Wakshinsky and Levi Sergeant.

The MHARA’s last points races will take place Sept. 7 and include the four aforementioned classes plus baby grands and evolution cup cars.
