With penalty kicks looming, Brendan Lutz came through in extra time of the Medicine Hat men’s soccer league City Cup final.

The Phantoms player booted the winning goal with eight minutes to go in Sunday’s championship match against the Ralston Rovers, who hadn’t lost a game the entire regular season and were thus heavily favoured.
