Trio of Mavericks come out on top at all-star game

Medicine Hat Mavericks Austin Sojka, Nolan Rattai and Flynn Ridley helped power Team West to a 5-4 victory over Team East at the Western Canadian Baseball League all-star game on Sunday at Edmonton’s Re/Max Field.
Stats from the game were unavailable, though the WCBL announced via Twitter that Ridley pitched a clean relief frame, allowing Team East their first hit of the night but holding them off the board.
Lethbridge Bulls’ Kaleb Warden won the home run derby.
