Stingerz win three cheerleading banners at Imagine

Medicine Hat News Medicine Hat’s Stingerz AllStarz brought meaning to their moniker by collecting a handful of first-place banners at the Imagine Cheer and Dance Championship on Saturday in Lethbridge. The Royal Beez took home top spot in the mini prep division, the Bumble Beez won the youth prep banner and the Ivy Beez topped the senior 3 stunt team division, but they weren’t the only Stingerz AllStarz to record podium finishes at the event. Kiandra Gaetz and Graycee Devins each earned first-place individual finishes in the youth 3 and junior 2 divisions, respectively, while the Queenz won second in the senior division and the Honeyz took third in junior 2. Brooke Railton took fourth in the youth 2 individual division and the club’s special needs squad, the Orchid Beez, closed out the event with a strong performance of their own. 6-5
