After losing on the road last week, the Medicine Hat Cubs were in Stettler Saturday for a late-night tilt against the Stettler Lightning.

Stettler was able to throw 19 shots at the Cubs net in the first, but were only able to get one past keeper Josh Breznik. The Cubs had 12 shots of their own, but could not beat Jordan McCallum.

The Lightning held the momentum through the rest of the game, firing 15 shots towards the Cubs in the second and third periods to win by a score of 4-0.

Breznik made 45 saves in the loss.

The Cubs are now 6-9-0 on the year and will play in Airdrie Friday.
