NDP candidate chosen for Brooks-Medicine Hat

Elections Alberta’s website indicates Lynn MacWilliam is running for the NDP in the Brooks-Medicine Hat riding.

The date of the selection is noted as March 2 and MacWilliam is listed as endorsed. As of noon on March 4 her name did not apear on the the Alberta NDP website under its candidates page.

The News has reached out to MacWilliam for comment.

The Alberta Party candidate in the Brooks-Medicine Hat riding is Jim Black and for the UCP Michaela Glasgo.

According to Alberta’s fixed-election-date legislation, the general election must take place between March 1 and May 31.
