JUNE MARGARET ZORA June 15th, 1938 May 26th, 2023 June Zora passed away on May 26th, 2023, at the age of 84 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Greg Zora, Randy Zora and David (Donna) Zora; grandchildren, Alyssa (Jas), Ashley (Brett), Ariel, Madison, McKayla, Dillan and Devin. June was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Harry Zora; parents, William and Mary Gardiner; brothers, Ian Gardiner and Rod Gardiner; sister, Diana Nicholson.
June was born and raised in Regina, SK. She completed grade 12 at Central Collegiate School in Regina and worked in various jobs including being a housewife. June was an avid reader and puzzler who enjoyed cross stitching, cooking, embroidery, playing with her grandchildren and loved animals.

LORI WEISGERBER January 4, 1989 ~ May 24, 2023 It is with profound sadness that family of Lori Leone Weisgerber announce her passing in Medicine Hat on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the age of 34 years. Lori will be lovingly remembered by her children whom she adored, Koen (12), Cylis (11) and Zoey (6); parents, Dale and Debbie Weisgerber; two brothers, Curtis (Christine Enslen) and his three sons, Easten, Colbrie and Benaiah as well as her brother, Bryce (Tiffany) and their children, Jensen, Ellie, Kooper and Lucille. Lori is also survived by Grandma Theresa Weisgerber; Aunty Lynne and Uncle Art Lorenz, Uncle Jim and Aunty Ronda Langbein; Aunty Sharon and Uncle Neal Cook; cousins, Kevin and Meagan Lorenz and their children, Travis and Samantha; Brent and Cidnee Lorenz and their children, Axelle and Abbott; Dawson and Megan Cook and their son, Rhett; Dana and Cam Stock as well as extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Roy and Alva Langbein and Bill Weisgerber as well as her cousins Grant Lorenz and Preston Lorenz. Growing up, Lori enjoyed a variety of sports including soccer and t-ball but she excelled at bowling where she and her teammates participated at the National level three times. She also played softball at a competitive level. Lori was an awesome mother to her three children even though most of the time she was under duress. She worked for many years at Argo’s Restaurant; a job she enjoyed tremendously. The last five years, Lori had struggled with addiction and her family is heartbroken that she lost her battle. “We will all miss you forever but we find comfort in knowing that your struggles are over and no one will ever hurt you again.” A Celebration of Lori’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Murray Jaster officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. The service will be live streamed. NOREEN SITWELL August 18, 1931 May 28, 2023 On May 28th, 2023, our beloved Mam, Nana and Grand Nana, Noreen Sitwell, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Noreen was born and raised in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, a place that always remained close to her heart. She was a proud, devoted mother to 6 children and a surrogate mother to many more. She will be dearly missed by her children, Lorraine (Paul) Brown and their children, Lucy and Lewis; Terri (Johnny) Bainbridge and their children, Marc, Neil, Emma and Morgan; Kim Sitwell; Joanne (Hossein) Forghani and their children, Sara, Sima, Maryam, Sonny, Samir, Layla and Cameron; Marc (Sheryl) Sitwell and their daughter, Natalie; Glen Sitwell and his son, Geoffrey. She is survived by her 10 great grandchildren, Tyne, Max, Sigi, Ollie, Benny, Charlie, Nico, Tilly, Lydia and Jude. Noreen married the love of her life, John, after a whirlwind two-week romance. They travelled extensively and instilled a love of travel in all their children. She was a social butterfly, loved people watching and was always happy and smiling. She was a very positive person and had a compliment for every person she met. She was the epitome of a classy lady, always impeccably dressed with matching jewelry. Her last three years were spent in South Country Village where she received exceptional care from all the staff, but especially Robert, her nurse on Sunnyside, who was amazing. An informal celebration of Noreen’s life will be held on Saturday, June 3rd at the BUFFS, 753 2 St SE at 6.00 p.m. Friends and family welcome. ELSIE MARTHA ROBBINS (NEE FUNK

ELSIE MARTHA ROBBINS (NEE FUNK) 1931-2023 Elsie Martha Robbins (nee Funk) April 10, 1931, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, May 29, 2023, at the age of 92 years. Her four surviving children are Neil (Gloria) Robbins, Donna Rode, Kelly (Heather) Robbins, and Neil (Heather) Davis who will cherish her memory along with fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Arnold, daughter Gail, son Bruce and one grandchild. Elsie was born in Grande Prairie and later moved to Edmonton with her family. There she met then married Arnold on August 13, 1954. They spent 16 years raising their children in Estevan, Saskatchewan where Elsie also worked in the Co-op Bakery using her talents to bring joy to others through delectable creations. In 1971, they moved to Medicine Hat, where Elsie continued her baking career at Richardson’s Bakery until her well-deserved retirement. Elsie enjoyed creating arts and crafts, especially drawing horses and was known for gifting Gallery Glass window decorations to those close to her. Elsie kept social and active in many ways including many years of bowling. She was also a long time volunteer with VON and adult daycare. As we bid farewell to mom, grandma, great grandma and friend let us celebrate a life well-lived and find solace in the memories that will forever keep her spirit alive within us. 1934 ~ WARREN SHERA ~ 2023 Warren Harold Shera of Medicine Hat, beloved husband of the late Marjory Shera, passed away on Sunday, May 28th, 2023 at the age of 89 years. Warren leaves to cherish his memory his children, Lynn Flannigan, Mark Flannigan, and Colleen (Doug) Webster; grandchildren, Jay Stokes (Lea Roe), Stacey Flannigan, Paige Webster, and Aliyah Webster; great-grandchild, Jadis; cousins, Bill (Cathy) Dallas and family, and Keith Cross and family. Warren was predeceased by his spouse, Marjory “Marj” Shera; parents, Harold and Evelyn Shera, and sister, Marilyn in infancy. Warren was an autobody man in Ontario and spent most of his working career in autobody. While living in Ontario, Warren also did harness racing. He was an owner, trainer, and driver of different horses. When Warren moved to Medicine Hat, he worked at Gas City Welding from 1981 to 2005. After leaving autobody, Warren was in real estate for eight years. He then was a security guard until his retirement. Due to his health, he retired in his 80s. Warren loved his horses and dogs. He also loved hockey and his favourite team was the Calgary Flames. He and Marj enjoyed gardening together and maintaining their beautiful garden, they both had green thumbs. Warren stayed very active and kept a healthy lifestyle as much as possible. He was a gentle soul and a kind, comforting, and loving husband, parent, grandpa, great-grandpa, uncle, and friend.
