NOBLE

Donald “Don” Barry Noble, beloved husband of Joyce, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Home, Carmel Hospice, at the age of 80 years. Don was born on June 28, 1938 to Roy and Muriel Noble in Medicine Hat. He leaves to cherish his memory Joyce his loving wife of 59 years, his son Perry, daughter Kim (Lou) Schottner, son Brett (Pam) Noble; his grandchildren, Beau (Karissa) Noble, Brandi (Jason) Arkell, Lucas Marshall, Brittany (Matt) Haskell, Joshua Marshall (Shayla Bennett), Rob (Evelyn) Schottner, Carson (Jen) Schottner, Kyle Schottner, Nathan and Ashley Noble; his great grandchildren Easton Marshall, Chloe Haskell, Bauer Noble, McKenzie, Emma and Levi Arkell; his brothers Lynn (Iona) Noble and Terry Noble his many nieces and nephews as well as Don Schock, a special friend for 70 years. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Don and Marlene Schock for a lifetime of support especially in the past four difficult months. Don was predeceased by his parents Muriel and Roy Noble; his in-laws, Ed and Viola (Heidinger) Seitz and one daughter-in-law Theresa (Lane) Noble. Don drove truck from the time he was 17 years old until he was 76 years old for Scott National, Leonard Perret Trucking, Medalta Transport, Mullen Transport, his own company – Noble and Son, and finally for RSB Transport for the last 15 years. He still had his Class 1 until the day he left us. His many accomplishments included: his legacy of a lifetime of trucking; he attended the Academy of Learning as well as becoming a commissionaire. He loved to go for long walks, taking Kim and Lou’s dogs to the dog park, and having coffee with friends at the Co-op. Anyone who knew Don, knew of his ability to tell stories and talk and talk. Not enough can be said about his incredible character, of his work ethic as well as his honesty and compassion. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery. O’HARA, WALBURGA (WALLY)

1928 – 2019
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Wally at the age of 90 years.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Michael (Laurel), Catherine (Dirk), Theresa (Darren), Reverend Gerard, Trish (Garth), Francis (Lia); twelve grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; sister Lillian Macacek; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Francis in 2010 and her son Kevin in 2008.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Friday March 22, 2019 at St. Andrew Catholic Church 12810-111 Ave, Edmonton, AB.
