1931 ~ LOIS STOCKDALE ~ 2017

With sadness, we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend Lois Jean Stockdale (nee Martin) on Tuesday, December 12th, 2017 in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Lois was predeceased by her son, Bill; and sister, Esther Maclean. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Martin, and Tony; daughters-in-law, Kathy, Marg, and Kandy; grandchildren, Krista, Lindsey, Lisa, Paul, Rogan and Tyana; and great granddaughter, Eleanor.
Lois grew up on a small farm near Ponoka, Alberta. She inherited her mother’s love for playing the piano, enjoyed many Hawaiian vacations, and photography. She spent many years as a high-level administrator in the Alberta Ministry of Health, where her organizational skills were greatly appreciated. She was very involved in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she developed life-long friendships. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS, 7 Sierra Boulevard SW, on Saturday from 10:00 until 10:55 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS on Saturday, December 16th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop J. August 23, 1931 ~ December 7, 2017

Andre Joseph Alphonse Morisseau passed away peacefully at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital with his family by his side on Thursday, December 7, 2017, at the age of 86 years. Left to cherish Andre’s memory are his children, Linda Seitz (Eric Andersen), Lorne (Helga) Morisseau, Brenda Morisseau (Bruce Riley), Bev Morisseau (Guy Lacasse), Larry (Marcella) Morisseau, Doreen (Rud) Henderson and Doris (Rob) Gillis; nine grandchildren, Troy, Tannis (Eddie), Taralee (Carmen), Marquel, Celine, Desirae, Alisha (Ryan), Cameron (Amourin) and Conrad as well as six great- grandchildren, Austin, Zaiden, Axel, Zaxton, Emma and Ashlynn. Andre is also survived by his sisters, Lyla, Alice (Don), Theresa (John), Madeline and Jeanne; brothers, Peter (Myrna) and Romeo (Louise) and family friends, Garth (Marilyn) Seitz and Crystal Gomke. Andre was predeceased by his children’s mother, Sandra Morisseau and his sister, Claudette (George). Maureen Patricia Brigham passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at the age of 62 years, beloved wife of Patrick Brigham of Medicine Hat. She also leaves to cherish her memory two children, Kathryn Brigham (Matt Piotrowski) and their children Greyson and Ashlynn; Michael (Candice) Brigham and their children Marsha and D’Arcye; two brothers, Dan (Dianne) O’Reilly and Mark (Debbie) O’Reilly; two brothers-in-law, Cory Brigham and Brian Brigham as well as numerous nieces and nephews. July 3, 1930 – December 8, 2017
Hilary Gerard Guest of Medicine Hat, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the age of 87 years. Hilary was born July 3,1930 in Holmesville, New Brunswick. He was the son of the late John Francis Guest and Annie Guest (Brennan). He was predeceased by his wife, Catherine (Bunny) Guest and brothers Paul, Joseph and James Guest.
Hilary loved the simple things in life. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and the local bridge club. His first love was for family and friends and his second greatest passion would have to be cards – any game any time! And of course he always enjoyed getting a laugh with a silly remark. Hilary will be greatly missed by his five children, John Guest (Brenda), Doug Guest, Patrick Guest (Kathy), Peter Guest (Michelle), Thomas Guest (Crystal); 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; his sister Margret Sinski, many relatives, his dear friends the Petke family and the Rose family and many other friends. ROY COWIE

1943 ~ 2017
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Roy David Cowie announce his passing at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at the age of 74 years. Roy was born March 12, 1943, in Lethbridge, one of nine children born to Allan and Evelyn Cowie. He was raised on the family farm near Foremost where he developed his love for the country way of life. He moved to Calgary before making his way to Medicine Hat when he accepted a job as a brand inspector. He enjoyed dancing, going to rodeo’s, playing guitar and singing. Roy enjoyed many road trips with Kim and spending time with family and friends. He especially loved spending time at Kim’s acreage where he would putter around fixing things and watch the horses. He truly enjoyed the peace of the country. Roy will be deeply missed by his daughters, Kim Cowie and Shawna (John) Cordara as well as four grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Lloyd (Pat) Cowie, Florence (Richard) Beringer, Elaine (Ken) Haaf and Wayne (Grace) Cowie; nieces, nephews and many special friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Allan and Evelyn; three sisters, Phyllis, Margaret (Joe) Bernhardt and Thelma (Fred) Lorentzon and a brother, Dale Cowie. He was predeceased by his parents John and Catherina Volk, his wife, Hilda Volk on October 22, 1990, and seven brothers and sisters.
