Supporting a variety of local animal rescues and organizations will be the annual Pet Expo at Exhibition Park on Saturday in the west pavilion.

From 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. people will be able to see all of the puppies that are looking to find their forever home, along with finding a wide assortment of items for your pet needs.

People will not only get the chance to get to know some of the animal rescue puppies up for adoption, but also get to see them strut their stuff on the runway with Windy City Rescue’s show at 11 a.m., Prairie Pit Bull runway show at 1 p.m., and the Misty Creek show at 3 p.m.

Throughout the day, people will be able to bid on a variety of items for their silent auction, with proceeds going to the rescues, ending at 3 p.m.

The Pet Expo also works in conjunction with the Lethbridge Comic Expo, located in the same pavilion. At the Comic Expo, people will be able to come dressed as their favourite comic book character and shop through a variety of different vendors.

Admission to the events is $5 and includes access to both the Pet Expo and Comic Expo.
