Corrective to Oct. 1 story about war in the Middle East

OTTAWA – In a story published Oct. 1, 2024 about the escalation of war in the Middle East, The Canadian Press erroneously attributed the quotation “all-out war” to Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly in the third paragraph. In fact Joly did not use that phrase.
