United States Customs and Border Protection says three Canada-U.S. border crossings in the Niagara region have reopened to traffic after two people died in a vehicle explosion near a customs checkpoint earlier today that is not being considered a terrorist attack.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said this afternoon that “there is no evidence at this time that it was a terrorist activity.”

The border crossing at the Rainbow Bridge, which spans the Niagara River, remains closed.

More coming.
