Interpretive Centre bringing back its Budding Botanists Nature Walk

An opportunity for those curious about nature but unsure of where to start, the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is once again offering its Budding Botanists Nature Walk.

Attendees will be joined by a park interpreter as they walk around Police Point Park, and learn practical plant identification skills while they explore the beauty of the local prairie ecosystem.

The walk is free to attend, but does require registration, as spots are limited. MHIP reminds those interested that it will proceed regardless of weather, so it’s important to dress for the conditions.

The event itself will take place July 16 from 1:30-3:00 p.m., leaving from the Nature Centre.
