Pair of workshops tonight, tomorrow to focus on Strong Towns initiative

The Community Action Lab of Medicine Hat is holding two public workshops this week. The first, Fixing the Housing Crisis Here at Home, happens tonight at the Esplanade starting at 7 p.m. Chuck Marohn, founder of Strong Towns, will be speaking at the event. Everyone is invited to join in a conversation following the presentation, which will take place at McNally’s Tap House from 9-10 p.m. On Wednesday, Mobilizing Your Community to Become a Strong Town will take place at Medicine Hat Public Library at 1 p.m. Director of membership and development at Strong Towns, Norm Van Eeden Petersman, will be the presenter at this event. 3-2
