Soon after midnight, in the early hours of Tuesday morning, Medicine Hat Police responded to a break and enter at the Cecil Hotel on Fourth Street SE, just off N. Railway Street.
A person had gained access to the front doors of the hotel and then gained access to the lobby ATM. The ATM was extensively damaged and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken, according to a police report.
Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact the MHPS at 403-529-8481 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800 -222-8477 (TIPS).
