Alzheimer’s Society moves May 31 coast-to-coast fundraising walk online

The Alzheimer’s Society’s annual fundraising walk will still take place this year. The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s will take place on May 31 at 10 a.m. and the location will be “online.” The walk will practise physical distancing from your own home – online across Canada. There will be a live broadcast with walkers from coast to coast. The Alzheimer’s Society is inviting you to support people living with dementia and their care partners by walking safely in your own home during the broadcast. You can register to participate at walkforalzheimers.ca and begin planning your walk. You could aim to do 10,000 steps in the comfort of your home that day or else run around your own yard 30 times.
