A comprehensive listing of community supports for a wide variety of needs – everything from emergency shelter details to a list of local grocery delivery services and information about government employment supports – has been posted on the City of Medicine Hat’s website (medicinehat.ca) as of Friday afternoon.
A creation of the city’s emergency operations social services branch, the listing also includes operational details for an array of social and community services, such as the Medicine Hat food bank, women’s shelter, Meals-on-Wheels and many others.
The page also includes contacts and links to information provided by Health Authorities, Federal and Provincial Government support programs, as well as local school boards and Medicine Hat College plans for continuing online education during the COVID-19 shut-downs.
