Manitoba man faces charges from August fatal pile-up near Oyen

Half a year after a fatal collision involving 11 vehicles on Highway 9, the Oyen RCMP has laid charges against a driver from Manitoba.
The collision occurred Aug. 20 at 3:30 p.m. near Range Road 72, resulting in three deaths.
It took firefighters until 8 p.m. to extinguish the blaze that resulted from the pile-up.
Daniel Zacharias Wollmann, 22, of Mitchell, Man., faces three charges of dangerous operation causing death and 14 counts of dangerous operation causing bodily harm.
Wollmann’s next court appearance is scheduled for April 22 in Hanna.
