Medicine Hat police have arrested one man after a serious incident in the city’s southeast.
Staff Sgt. Chad Holt says the MHPS is still “connecting the dots” on the file, but confirmed the man was wanted with regard to multiple incidents in the city.
Police were called to the area of 24th Street and Southview Drive around 3 p.m. looking for the suspect – Southview Community School was put on lock down until the area was deemed safe for kids to leave.
Holt says he hopes police will have enough information tied together to make a release today, including the identity of the man and what his exact charges are.
