A local author has a children’s book with a Christmas theme about a little mole in the forest.
“It’s about the joy of giving and receiving at Christmas,” said Lana Kuystemans. “It’s the story of a little forest mole intrigued with the spirit of Christmas joy and love.”
Kuystemans has used rhythmic language to engage young minds in “Mole’s Christmas Surprise.” She also did all the full colour illustrations in the book.
For Kuystemans it is her sixth book published and she says copies are available through Coles in Medicine Hat or online. The books costs less than $25.
She suggests the book is ideal for children between the ages of two and eight.
