Ski Swap this weekend at YMCA to support safety, first aid and rescue

A Ski Swap event is taking place this weekend at the downtown YMCA, 150 Ash Ave. SE in Medicine Hat. Gear drop-off takes place on Friday from 5-9 p.m. Ski Swap is on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is the one day a year where skiers can turn in their old equipment for cash and get some bargains on new and used ski and snowboard equipment, says a press release from the Canadian Ski Patrol, a registered charity dedicated to promoting ski safety and providing first aid and rescue service to skiers. Proceeds from the Ski Swap stay in the community and go toward the purchase of first aid and rescue equipment as well as the safety and education programs of the Canadian Ski Patrol in Palliser zone. 6-5
