Service dog info session Friday, 10:30 at city hall

The city will hold an awareness event about service dogs and the public is invited to attend. It will take place Friday at 10:30 a.m. in council chambers. In the past number of years there has been a growing demand for the city to allow vested service animals into public buildings and spaces. The city says not every animal or dog qualifies as a “service” dog or animal. The demonstration on Friday will provide greater understanding of the importance of service dogs, the necessary training required and how you can have your dog certified. 6-5
