An art show downtown is being hosted by the South East Water Shed Alliance and is showcasing artists from studio groups at the Cultural Centre.

The gallery is living at a storefront in the Arcade Plaza downtown, in a space that was donated by building owner Navneet Singh Bhui.

“This show is a collaboration between a lot of different people,” said artist Martha Munz Gue. “All of the paintings featured have to do with water in one way or another.

“SEAWA has a table in the room as well showcasing their projects and community engagement.”

SEAWA works in the community to resort waterways and work on educating the public about our ecosystem.

There are six artists on display selling their work and the exhibit is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. People can phone SEAWA at 403-488-8110 for more information or to try see the show at a different time.

“We’d love to have people come and see the art show,” said Munz Gue. “Come out and see the art and learn more about what SEAWA does for our community.”
