Large signs have arrived announcing the new tenants in the recently renovated wing of Medicine Hat Mall. Yep, it's Old Navy, along with an expanded Ardene outlet and a Dollar store will move in soon to renovated bays that comprise the former Sears location on the mall's west side.

All signs point to new tenants setting up at Medicine Hat Mall.

On Tuesday large signs promoting Old Navy arrived at the shopping facility in southeast Medicine Hat at the recently remodelled wing.

Mall officials have previously said Old Navy, the casual clothing retailer, will take up one of the three mid-sized bays in the reconfigured space that was formerly Sears.

Dollarama and an expanded Ardene operation are also set to open prior to the Christmas shopping season.

This month construction fencing came down around the wing, which was made smaller and fronted with new brick and a new drive-up, drop-off lane.

The space of the three bays totals about 45,000 square feet, about half the size of the former Sears anchor location.

The project was the second major redevelopment at the Medicine Hat Mall in the past three years. Previously, landlord Primaris converted 100,000 square feet that was previously a Zellers, then Target, into a new food court and shopping avenues.
