Weather postpones rural crime town hall but online survey still available

Alberta Justice Minister Doug Schweitzer's planned stop in Medicine Hat on Sept. 30 as part of a provincial tour to discuss rural crime was postponed due tot he winter storm that hit the region on Sunday.

A rural crime town hall with Justice Minister Doug Schweitzer scheduled for Monday evening was postponed due to inclement weather.

In announcing the postponement, Brooks-Medicine Hat MLA Michaela Glasgo posted a link to an online survey for members of the public to fill out that is open until Oct. 31.

“We are looking to book a new time in the near future,” Glasgo said on Facebook.
