Cops, Pops and Pizza event will raise money in support of Special Olympians

Members of the Medicine Hat Police Service will be at the Strachan Road Boston Pizza Saturday to show support for local Special Olympians. From 4-7 p.m., officers will be serving customers alongside the honoured athletes, who are coming from across southern Alberta, for the fundraiser dubbed “Cops, Pops and Pizza.” All tips will go toward the Special Olympics Alberta and its local affiliate. Those who don’t want to order food or beverages but want to contribute can do so, either by purchasing Special Olympics merchandise or simply giving a donation. 5-4
