The residential street sweeping program will begin Monday and could take up to six weeks to complete depending on the weather, the city says in a press release.

It will be carried out by zone and residents are asked to observe temporary no-parking signs so the sweeping can be carried out more effectively for the benefit of all.

All driveway curb ramps and other objects in the area should also be removed.

The no-parking signs will be placed in position 12 hours before work is planned to commence.

The city has additional information on its website including progress and hours of operation.

Spring sweeping helps to remove sanding materials and debris that accumulated on roads and along major sidewalks and boulevards during the winter months.
