S. Railway work will cause lane reduction April 10-11

Medicine Hat News Construction means there will be one-lane traffic on April 10 and 11 in sections along S. Railway SE between the Allowance Avenue overpass and Kingsway Drive. On these two days, the contractor will mill the asphalt road surface. The one-lane sections will be short and traffic will be controlled with flag people to reduce delay. Local business access will be maintained throughout the project. The city reminds motorists and pedestrians to obey all traffic signs and signals, and drive safely around work crews. Skateboard park closure On April 9 and 10, the Kinsmen Skateboard Park will be closed to the public due to construction activities. Work will involve the installation of two new light poles and associated electrical connections. The city asks the public to obey all signage in the area and remain a safe distance from construction activities. 10-9
