Pair arrested and charged by police in seizure of meth, fentanyl

Police announced Tuesday the arrest of two people and the seizure of $18,000 in methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Following a short-term investigation, Medicine Hat Police Service organized crime section made the arrests on Feb. 5, which in turn led to the execution of a search warrant at a residence located in North East Medicine Hat.

A total of 150 grams of methamphetamine was seized, along with smaller quantities of heroin and fentanyl. In addition, investigators seized bear spray, a replica handgun, several knives, and cash proceeds of crime.

Daniel Kronebusch, a 22-year-old male, has been charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of drug trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime, and possession of weapons dangerous to the public

Bethany Elizabeth Fitz-Simon, a 22 year-old female, has been charged with one count of possession of methamphetamine.
