Webster Niblock hosting event to honour World Read Aloud Day

Medicine Hat News Webster Niblock School is having a literacy event on Feb. 1 in honour of World Read Aloud Day. Special guest readers will be at the school to do spoken word duties from 11:00 a.m. to noon. From 1:30- 2:30 p.m., the school will be involved in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) activities, which will correlate to Fairy Tale books. Students will be asked to complete a science/engineering task based on what they read. World Read Aloud Day is intended promote greater reading and literacy within the community. 5-4
