A third person has been charged with second-degree murder in the November 2016 death of Logan Ring.

Jolene Denise Epp, 38, was arrested at a residence in Swift Current at approximately 3:46 p.m. on Wednesday and was charged with one count of second-degree murder. She made her first appearance in Swift Current Provincial court on Thursday morning. The matter was then adjourned to Nov. 8 where she will appear by video conference.

Epp’s arrest is now the third in a series of arrests connected to Logan Ring’s death.

Rebecca Lynn Kuhlman, 25, and Tanisha Lynn Perrault, 19, were both arrested earlier in the week and are also both charged with one count of second-degree murder.

All three individuals were known to the victim, and RCMP are continuing their investigation.

The body of Logan Curtis Ring was located in the Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park on Nov. 17, and a homicide investigation has been underway since.

“Logan Ring was located deceased in November of last year at Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park and the “F” Division Major Crime Unit South has been working on this investigation since that time. We know there are people with more information about Logan’s death and the time period leading up to it. We encourage these people to come forward and speak with police or call Crime Stoppers anonymously,” S-Sgt. Murray Chamberlin, “F” Division Major Crime Unit South noted in an Oct. 3 statement.
