Dwayne Myers, dean of the Medicine Hat News volunteer photo department, is caught in a rare moment without a camera hiding his nose. Myers has moved to London, Ont., after submitting hundreds of beautiful photos and their amusing captions over the past couple of years. News readers will miss him.
Local amateur photographer Dwayne Myers, who supplied the Medicine Hat News with hundreds of wonderful photos over the last few years, has moved to Ontario.
He and his wife Carole have sold their Medicine Hat home and moved to London, Ont., to be closer to family.
Myers said he was “inspired to take photos and submit them by the quality photos of (Medicine Hat News staff photographer) Emma Bennett.”
“Sometimes I felt like a bit of a local celebrity as strangers complimented me on this or that photo that appeared in the newspaper,” said Myers.
