The 1990s will return to Medicine Hat in April. Well, some of the most popular music will anyway.

Blind Melon, best known for its 1993 hit “No Rain,” and Soul Asylum, best known for its hit “Runaway Train” in the same year, will be at the Canalta Centre on April 10. Bif Naked is listed as a special guest for the show.

Both Blind Melon and Soul Asylum went on hiatus in the late 1990s, but returned with new music about 10 years later. Soul Asylum, who performed at the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede in 2014, has released albums regularly since then. Blind Melon hasn’t released any albums since 2008 but could have something out next year. A single, “Way Down and Far Below,” was released in September.

Tickets are available at ticketmaster.ca, by phone at 1-855-985-5000 or in person at the Canalta Centre box office.
