‘Clerks’ director Kevin Smith coming to Hat

Comedic film director Kevin Smith is coming to the Hat on Jan. 19 to screen his latest film, which stars a couple familiar faces – Jay and Silent Bob. 

The duo appeared in most of Smith’s acclaimed films throughout the 1990s and early-2000s – “Clerks,” “Dogma,” “Mallrats” and, of course, “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.” 

Smith will be showing the movie “Jay and Silent Bob Reboot” at the Esplanade and will then take audience questions.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. and can be purchased online at tixx.ca, by calling 403-502-8777, and in person at the Esplanade box office or the Medicine Hat Mall guest services desk.
