The Hat Art Club is hosting a Membership Night on Sept. 11, aiming to increase its membership and thereby show the community just how important creativity can be for the individual and the collective.
Communication coordinator Kelly Boreson-Charland says “You do not need to be an artist to become a member but instead just a brave soul willing to re-connect with their lost creativity.”
Membership in the club, $100, comes with discounted creative and art classes, opportunities to connect with members in the community and meet and learn from other artists, and other perks.
Membership Night, at the Hat Art Studio in the Cultural Centre, will begin at 7 p.m. followed by new member orientation.
