The Bromantics will provide the tunes for the Spring Sockhop.
Beveridge Landmark Events is turning back the clock tonight.
The downtown venue is hosting a spring sockhop featuring the music of the 1950s and ’60s provided by The Bromantics.
“With with brilliant brass tones and doo-wop harmonies they keep the audience screaming for more,” says a release from Beveridge’s Mavis Conrad. She goes on to say the band’s cross nostalgia and modern trends attract people of all ages to their shows.
Conrad says era-appropriate attire – poodle skirts, greaser jackets, etc. – is encouraged.
More information and a link to advance tickets, $25, can be found at thebeveridge.ca. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $35.
