Ticked Off and Tickled Pink: Dec. 15, 2020

By Ticked Off - Tickled Pink on December 15, 2020.

Ticked Off

Really wish people would stop putting pressure on family members to break rules at Christmas. Your whining now may turn into guilt and tears later on.

Ticked Off

I am missing my group fitness, now the city is stopping the virtual classes. I was so happy to have virtual classes and those are ripped away too. Come on city get with the times, keep those virtual classes.

Ticked Off

I’ll never vote for Notley and the NDP again. Nothing constructive to say during the pandemic crisis. Just trying to score cheap political points at the expense of Albertan families.

Ticked Off

That Ted Clugston voted against the mask bylaw because he “kind of wanted to see how it would have played out” without one. Right from the horse’s mouth – our mayor would let Medicine Hat citizens die to satisfy his morbid curiosity. This man does not care about public health.

Tickled Pink

Love the work our mayor is doing, and my decision will be easy next election. Whiners are going to whine but they will never have the courage of our mayor.

Tickled Pink

What Premier Kenney and his bumbling party really need is some theme music prior to their public announcements. I would think the intro to Monty Python’s Flying Circus (the Liberty Bell March) might set the appropriate expectation for the audience… “Now for something completely different.”

Ticked Off

At the geniuses who planned the fancy paving/curb job on Main Street in Redcliff, now we need little red posts all over so no one drives over the edges unexpectedly if they gets snow covered, what on earth were you thinking? Idiots! We have better suggestions for our tax dollars.

Tickled Pink

…to see the lime green Toyota SUV driving around Medicine Hat with some brightly lit Christmas lights decorating the roof rack! Just what I needed to lift my Christmas spirit!

Ticked Off

The award for the 2020 “Grinch that stole Christmas” goes to the Chief Medical Officer of Alberta. Congratulations!

Ticked Off

Instead of our federal government giving away $300 million plus to other countries this year, how about keeping it for our remote communities that still don’t have clean drinking water? We are not a third-world country.

Ticked Off

Ticked off that because so many thoughtless people demanded their rights and freedoms and ignored COVID recommendations, thousands of Alberta seniors will not get to spend Christmas with their grandchildren.

Ticked Off

I would like to know what Albertans would do if they had to make the decisions Premier Kenney and his cabinet have to surrounding this pandemic… because everyone is so quick to judge.

Tickled Pink

Tickled pink because Christmas can’t be cancelled. We still want to celebrate the birth of baby Jesus. That’s what Christmas is all about.

Ticked Off

Masks are not used to protect your throat. Getting tired of going through the grocery store and passing someone doing this. When you give them a dirty look they put it back on and then pull it back down when you’re gone. Who’s policing this?

Tickled Pink

Tickled pink by all those involved in saving the goose found at Strathcona. I think a lot of people may have just driven by. Good job.

Ticked Off

Ticked off at all the people disregarding the mask bylaw. Get over yourself put on a mask and protect everyone especially those who are immune compromised. If in the mall or Walmart etc.., without one or worn improperly, those people should be told to leave the premises by security or staff members immediately.

Ticked Off

What in the world is the matter with the Canadians who have any confidence in Justin Trudeau? You don’t have to be a genius to see through his blatant disregard for Canadian unity. This guy is incompetent and a disgrace as a leader.

Ticked Off

People on their own get to have two cohorts, but I only get to have one… my wife.
