Ticked Off and Tickled Pink March 5, 2020

Ticked Off

I take my reusable shopping bags with me to get groceries but find the checkout clerks pack some of the bags too heavy to lift and put a bunch of empty bags in with my groceries.

Ticked Off

City utility bill: Service charges, administration charges, going green charges, municipal consent fee, federal carbon charge, capacity charge. What the hell?

Tickled Pink

If the city would use some of the money I pay every month for these skyrocketing utility bills to fix a few of the potholes plaguing Medicine Hat.

Tickled Pink

If our mayor and the aldermen of this city would take a walk around downtown and take note of what is going on.

Ticked Off

At politicians (provincial and federal) and their political games. The province of Alberta and country of Canada were once stable. Not anymore!

Tickled Pink

Kris Samraj seems to be the only councilor in touch with the regular folks. I hope he runs for mayor

Ticked Off

The next provincial election can’t come soon enough. I didn’t vote UCP the first time, and I hope Albertans learned that a someone with no children who lives with his mama isn’t best for Alberta.

Ticked Off

I sure hope a local grocery store isn’t giving away my yearly dividend cheque to make themselves look benevolent at my expense. I would rather they lower their prices than give away the dividends.

Ticked Off

That a mother can not even call and ask how her daughter is doing now and then.

Ticked Off

When is the mayor and city council going to disclose to us, the taxpayers, the amount of money the management company at the Canalta Centre lost in 2019 and 2018?

Ticked Off

Our premier has fought carbon taxes provincially and federally and now wonders why Teck left. Most companies want to see environmental leadership.

Ticked Off

Justin Bieber dethrones Elvis? That’s impossible and hilarious.

Ticked Off

If Trudeau felt the need to secretly spend our tax money for security for Prince Harry, he should pay us back with his own money, or ask the Queen to cover this five-month vacation!

Ticked Off

Wow the hoarders and scalpers are already busy because of the novel coronavirus. I’m doing drywall repairs and cannot find dust masks because every hardware store is sold out. Hope you bums get stuck with your stockpile.

Ticked Off

Government makes cuts to AHS, education, senior services all for the oil workers.
