Ticked Off and Tickled Pink Sept. 3, 2019

Ticked Off

It is disheartening that a person, children and/or small dogs can’t go for a walk by the river anymore even though there are walking trails. Why is a dangerous dog and his owner allowed to take over the territory?

Ticked Off

I am truly disappointed at the lack of a clear choice in the next federal election. It seems all the main core parties display platforms that lack comprehensive solutions and instead focus on single main issues. Having a fiscally responsible conscience, empathy for others, a belief in free enterprise or strong government social programs should not require one at the expense of all others.

Tickled Pink

I would be elated if our provincial government would focus efforts on unsafe consumption sites, more commonly known as neighbourhood drug houses, rather than reviewing safe consumption sites.

Tickled Pink

With a certain retail worker at the Canada Post retail shop on Kipling Street. He’s so kind, considerate and helpful even when hes got a huge lineup of customers and customers that are impatient, rude and belligerent.

Ticked Off

With people who prey on widows for their pensions and inheritance.

Ticked Off

Those of you who push a shopping cart around a store for two hours and then out to your vehicle to drop off your purchases but are too insanely lazy to return it to the cart storage area afterward deserve every parking lot dent your vehicle can fit.

Ticked Off

Any Paul Harvey fans out there. In 1965 Harvey did a piece titled If I Were the Devil. It’s easy to find on YouTube. It was absolutely frightening and shocking how accurate he was and how what he said more than 50 years ago is now being played out before our very eyes.

Ticked Off

That people love freebies given out at any level of government. Taxpayers have paid many times over for whatever it is. Debt for nothing is what the NDP caused Alberta. I voted Kenney to do some major surgery.

Ticked Off

I’ve been using Highway 3 lately and haven’t seen a marked police car east of Taber. From Taber to Seven Persons I drive the speed limit and am pushed by other motorists. One time I had 17 vehicles behind me. More police on those roads might save a few lives.

Tickled Pink

After being diagnosed with terminal cancer and given four years to live in 2013, my cancer is in remission. Thanks to all the cancer workers and the Lord.

Tickled Pink

If the excessive deer hating population was culled.

Tickled Pink

A big thank you to the MHPS for reviewing the parking tickets at the Cars & Guitars Weekend at the Canalta Centre.

Ticked Off

That our prime minister has to demonstrate to the world how immature he is by wearing those funny socks. Perhaps he thinks his feet will garner enough attention to advance his ideological agenda however I think most world leaders consider it inappropriate and just an attention getter.

Ticked Off

We keep hearing more research needs to be done regarding the health benefits of cannabis. The sad reality is no one wants to fund a study for a medicine that can be home grown. There’s no money to be made by big pharma.

Ticked Off

The one who said Bernier is anti-smart because he is a climate change denier must be pretty dumb. Bernier never has denied climate change, only that the human impact on climate change is infinitesimally small and that the earth has continuously had climate change and cycles for millions of years.
