Ticked Off and Tickled Pink July 25, 2019

Tickled Pink

A big shoutout to those who came from all over to beautify our city with the Christian graffiti at the mural fest.

Tickled Pink

Medicine Hat is a perfect size and area in population. Bigger is not better.

Ticked Off

At hair salons that allow employees to chew gum while they work. It was not a pleasant experience and I’ll be going elsewhere next time.

Tickled Pink

At least the deer downtown know how to use the crosswalks instead of jaywalking.

Ticked Off

That bylaw is not contacting the city about their neglected properties – weeds and more weeds!

Tickled Pink

That Americans finally elected a leader rather than a politician. His work benefits the U.S. and the world. He will do more when he is finished dealing with the swamp, the whiners and the radicals and he does it all with a sense of humour and a sense of urgency that his irrational haters no longer seem to have.

Ticked Off

It’s really too bad that the mayor or city council members don’t live beside a bat infested house in Medicine Hat or you would see the quickest bylaw in history passed to deal with this.

Tickled Pink

That our free market supporting MLA now wants to meddle in the market by somehow exerting control over gas prices. Trudeau did the same thing in the 1970s.

Tickled Pink

To find out how much the Redcliff golf course has paid back to the town so far for the loan it received.

Ticked Off

At all the illiterates who don’t understand the “you must leash” signs on the path by the cemetery in Redcliff and going across town.Look at the pictures they show a dog with a leash on!! Where is bylaw?

Tickled Pink

Bylaw officers receive the same wage regardless how pitiful and petty a complaint may be, they get paid to deal with all of them!

Tickled Pink

That our local MLA is showing his hypocritical side once again by railing against filibusters when this was tactic he used back in his Wildrose days.

Ticked Off

That a historic house on First Street is possibly going to be demolished. What an absolute shame and loss of a historic and unique home.

Ticked Off

Some non-profit agencies need a lesson in integrity. They have a twisted sense of being beyond reproach.

Tickled Pink

Our provincial government was very wise to reduce business taxes and help Albertans get back to work, assuming those Albertans want to move to Louisiana.

Ticked Off

At a local golf course where there are unsightly dead trees and branches right by the club house. They have been left like that for more than three years. Such an eyesore for golfers, guests and those of us who live close by.

Ticked Off

In this time of being financially fit, how does Medicine Hat give a property away plus provide $1 million?

Ticked Off

When we bought our house the neighbourhood was beautiful. Now slumlords have dilapidated not only the house beside us but the majority of neighboring houses. What a disgrace to people that have pride in their property and have respect for others!

Ticked Off

For those who object to a filibuster, at least the members are present, not like those who walk out when they don’t like the topic. If you truly represent your voters, be glad to be in the legislature.

Ticked Off

Rather than drilling down to fix the problems in the southeastern Alberta natural gas business (it’s literally imploding on the new provincial government’s watch), MLAs Drew Barnes and Michaela Glasgo are busy flipping pancakes. Get off your high horses, this is serious!

Ticked Off

At how the left-wing media wants to silence us conservatives and Christians, and how Twitter and Facebook try to silence us. Wake up, people.

Tickled Pink

Enjoying the new paved path to Desert Blume. Keep up the good work!

Tickled Pink

With the idea of pickle ball courts downtown! Now the homeless drug-users will have something to do instead of breaking into cars.

Ticked Off

Please tell me why the city turns on the auto sprinklers for the Southridge park at 6 a.m. when people are walking their dogs, biking and walking! Turn them on at 2 or 3 a.m.; a silver lining is it would keep the kiddies out of the park doing things they shouldn’t!
